How do I stop going off my diet and bingeing on the weekends?
britsorsticks asked:
I am on a 1200-1400 calorie diet and don’t feel hungry throughout the week. But when the weekend comes I lose my motivation and blow my diet. Is there any tricks to prevent me from ruining my hard work all week?

You need to kill the cravings. If you don’t want the junk or treats, it is easy to say no. I’ve had success with doing a mild cleanse — Isagenix is the best I’ve found. You will drop a bunch of extra weight during your cleanse (I dropped 13 pounds in 9 days — all fat), but more importantly, you will not crave junk anymore.
I was a pizza junkie and could eat 1/2 a pie before feeling satisfied. After my first Isagenix cleanse, I was good with 1 slice. Just kicking that craving for cheese/salt/fats reduced my weekly calories by thousands!
Here’s a link where you can check out the Isagenix cleanse…

First off that is the reason you are bingeing. 12 to 1400 calories is not healthy by any means. Your body needs more to help you through the day. you should consider adding more calories. You should be eating your weight multiplyied by 14. That it how many calories you should be eating a day. IF you are trying to get super skinny like the tv stars you will harm your body. Doing want your doing is actaully causing your body to go into starvation mode. That’s why you eat so much on the weekend is because your body thrives for those needed calories. If I’m right which I pretty know that I am eventaully you are going to see signs of gaining more weight because your body will starve all that fat you ate on the weekend and keep it during the week. This causes you metabolism to slow down. Those women on tv starve themselves to look that way. Try some protien too it will help in keeping you from wanting to cheat so much. But as for anything else you will start gaining weight if you keep up this routine and it will be twice as hard to keep it off.

Try to eat healthy things that taste good when you get hungry for sweet things. Instead of bingeing on ice cream or pizza, eat a bunch of grapes (about 100 calories for a big bunch) or any fruit. Fresh things have very few calories and they taste so good!
Of what you do eat, make sure its healthy–its not just about calories, its about what you eat. Get plenty of protein and fiber. Also drink a lot of water! I know it sounds cliche, but water helps your body feel hydrated so it doesn’t retain water, improves skin, and is a natural appetite suppressant.
By combining an aerobic activity three to four times a week (like brisk walking or running for 45 mintues to an 120 minutes) and doing strength training exercises like Pilates or yoga you develop long, lean muscles and a flat tummy! Do NOT over-obsess, be happy with being healthy. So you eat a bowl of ice cream one night–tomorrow is a new day!
